About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a leading pharmaceutical company in Ireland. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, optimizing, and maintaining the company’s equipment, HVAC systems, facilities, and cleanrooms. You will also be responsible for conducting risk assessments, mitigating potential issues, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize mechanical equipment for pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement HVAC systems and facility engineering plans.
- Design and maintain cleanrooms in accordance with cGMP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of utilities and infrastructure.
- Manage and execute engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Conduct equipment qualification and validation activities.
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation and comply with industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- In-depth knowledge of cGMP guidelines and regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Proficient in CAD software for equipment design.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
