Job Summary:

We’re looking for a driven Laboratory Supervisor to support our growing Dublin laboratory. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Laboratory Manager, performing administrative, coordination, and supervisory tasks, while driving efficiencies and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate laboratory testing schedules and assign tasks to team members.
  • Enhance work procedures and processes aligning with company and departmental goals.
  • Report relevant metrics to management.
  • Support personnel in completing projects and daily tasks.
  • Implement continuous improvement methods to enhance operations, efficiency, job satisfaction, and customer service.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (GMP, FDA, ISO) and departmental policies.
  • Collaborate with QA to ensure timely completion of actions (OOS, deviations, Change Controls, etc.).
  • Coordinate training for laboratory personnel.
  • Assist in customer audits and tours when needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership and delegation skills.
  • Show commitment, flexibility, and a high level of accuracy.
  • Possess good IT skills.

Job Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. /B.S.) in Microbiology / Biology or related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related experience in a pharmaceutical microbiology laboratory or similar setting.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Windows-based programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in a GMP environment preferred.
